Cooking Steps
Melt 6 tablespoons butter over medium heat or in the microwave.
Beat eggs, add milk and beat until smooth. Mix the resulting mixture with melted butter.
In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder and kosher salt.
Pour the egg mixture into the dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Let sit for 5-10 minutes.
Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Melt a little butter, spreading it evenly over the entire surface of the skillet.
Form a pancake with about 1/4 cup of the batter. Sprinkle the batter with chocolate chips.
Cook the pancake for about 2 minutes, then flip and continue cooking until golden brown, another 1 to 2 minutes.
Repeat with the remaining pancakes. The batter should yield 2-3 pancakes.
Transfer the pancakes to a serving platter and drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
