In a separate bowl, mix 2 cups pineapple juice, 1/2 cup tequila and 1/4 cup lime juice.

Pour the mixture into 85 ml ice cream molds, filling them ¾ full.

Add 1 teaspoon of grenadine to each mold. Cut the lime into 1/4 inch thick slices. In every slice make an incision in the middle with a knife so that you can insert a wooden popsicle stick.

Place the sliced ​​limes on top of each mold with the mixture, making sure there is no gap between the mixture and the lime slice.

Put the molds with the mixture in the freezer until completely solidified, about 4 hours.

Before serving, put the molds in water for a few minutes so that the ice cream can be easily melted.
