Cooking Steps
Step 1
Pierce potatoes all over with a fork.

Rub the potatoes with oil and season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Preheat oven to 450° and place prepared potatoes on a baking sheet or on an ovenproof rack set inside a baking sheet.
Step 4
Bake potatoes until easily pierced with a fork (about 1 hour).
