Salmon in garlic-honey sauce

Cooking Steps

Step 1

Whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice and red pepper flakes.

Step 2

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat two tablespoons extra-virgin oil.

Step 3

Add salmon skin-side up and season with salt and pepper.

Step 4

Add salmon skin-side up and season with kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper.

Step 5

Cook salmon until golden (about 6 minutes), then flip over and add remaining tablespoon of extra-virgin oil.

Step 6

Add minced cloves garlic to the skillet and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).

Step 7

Add the honey mixture and sliced into rounds lemon and cook until sauce is reduced by about 1/3.

Step 8

Baste salmon with the sauce. Garnish with sliced lemon and serve.
