Cooking Steps
Sift 800 grams of flour into the mixing bowl.
Add 1 ½ teaspoons of salt, 30 grams of sugar and 15 grams of dry yeast.
Mix on low speed and gradually add 400 ml (13.5 fl oz) of lukewarm water. Mix for about five minutes.
Add 100 grams of soft butter and mix for five more minutes.
Transfer the dough to a bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Let the dough rise until doubled in size, about an hour and a half.
Spread the dough onto a lightly floured surface, gently pat it down, and divide it into 20 equal parts.
Shape each part into a round and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cover with a towel or plastic wrap and let rise for 30 minutes.
Just before baking, brush the top with milk and sprinkle with sesame seeds, poppy seeds or any garnish to your preference.
Bake at 200°C for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
Cool on a rack and serve.
